I had an incredible stay at a stunning historic building in an amazing location with super-friendly owners! The owners were so kind and thoughtful, making me feel right at home. The beautifully restored traditional house had simply furnished rooms with breathtaking views of Gorica, the river, and the mountains. While I didn't eat at the Guva restaurant, the nearby restaurant, Lili's, provided a warm welcome and delicious food. The hotel's terrace also offered a fantastic spot to watch the sunset. I absolutely loved my time at Guva Mangalem Hotel Restaurant!
The hike up the steep stone paths to access the hotel. However, the hotel provided a porter to carry my luggage, and the exercise ended up being beneficial for me.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Berat and had a magical experience. The Guva Mangalem Hotel Restaurant was perfect in every way. The owners were incredibly kind and thoughtful, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself is located in a beautifully restored traditional house and offers stunning views of Gorica, the river, and the mountains. The rooms, while simple, were comfortable and provided an amazing backdrop for a good night's sleep. The location, although accessed by narrow and steep paths, added to the charm and the hotel even arranged for assistance with our luggage. a truly memorable stay.
No issues. 👍

The hotel had an amazing view of the old town and the river. The breakfast was quite good and there was a wide variety of options to choose from. The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the main road and close to many shops and restaurants.
My stay at this hotel during the new year holidays was a bit disappointing. The room was not very clean and there were stains on the sheets.

Spent Easter at a hotel with amazing views and fabulous breakfast! Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was served promptly. The rooms were cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was located in a beautiful and historic location, with stunning views of the surrounding area. The restaurant offered a tasty dinner menu, but unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy it since it was fully booked.
There were some things we did not like. There were some power cuts during our stay, which meant no electricity.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was amazing, situated in a pedestrian area with an excellent view just two corners away! We enjoyed the stunning view of the mountain from the room and the rooftop terrace. The service was outstanding, with hospitable staff and immaculate cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The breakfast was awesome, with delicious homemade Albanian food and perfect coffee. We also appreciated the great facilities and amenities provided by the hotel.
Although the hotel restaurant serves decent food, the communication with the waiter was a bit difficult due to limited English vocabulary.

The hotel is nestled in the heart of the charming old town, surrounded by a labyrinth of narrow Ottoman streets and stone houses. Just next door, you can enjoy a warm welcome at the brilliant Lili's. The bar offers breathtaking views of the surroundings, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the old Mangalem district. The rooms are impeccably clean, with a traditional decoration that adds to the overall charm.
The breakfast options could use some improvement.
